Rooted in Faith, Freedom, and the American Spirit

The Michigan First Foundation is rooted in America’s Christian heritage: The founding Christian values and biblical principles that inspired our great nation. These values instilled by God and our Founding Fathers for generations of hardworking, God-loving families, aren’t political talking points or marketing ploys for us. They’re the reason we fight every day to take back Michigan’s sovereignty, and return power to the people. 

Faith, Family, and Freedom

We believe in putting God first and acknowledge that our rights come from above, not the government. We know that strong communities begin with strong families. We stand with and protect the institution of the family from radical activists who are bent on its destruction. Religious liberty, free speech, free assembly and the right to bear arms are not up for negotiation. We proudly support pro-life policies, biblical values, and the freedom to live, work, and worship as our consciences direct.

Constitutional Fidelity and State Sovereignty

The U.S. Constitution and the Constitution of the State of Michigan are both documents forged in blood, intended to limit government’s power and preserve individual rights. We demand strict adherence to both documents’ original intent. We call for the federal government to stop commandeering our state and violating our rights. We insist on the full restoration of Tenth Amendment powers to the states. We will not allow unelected bureaucrats in Washington D.C. to dictate to us how we raise our children, live our lives or use our land and resources. It’s time Michigan governed Michigan.

Patriotism and Community Empowerment

We love this country, and this state, with a fierce, grateful patriotism that salutes the flag, honors our veterans, and respects the sacrifice they and our forefathers made to secure our freedom. Real power starts local: Town halls, county commissions, school boards, local clubs, and neighborhood efforts where citizens—not distant elites—are making the decisions that impact their daily lives. We are building a movement that empowers local leaders and communities with the tools they need to succeed and thrive

Integrity, Hard Work, and Self-Reliance

Truth, personal responsibility, and the dignity of honest labor are fundamental to our mission. We’re tired of a culture of dependency, victimhood, and entitlement. The solution to our problems is not bigger government, it’s less government and a return to the time-tested values of hard work, ingenuity, and self-reliance. WE THE PEOPLE OF MICHIGAN have always rolled up our sleeves to provide a better life for ourselves, our families, and our neighbors—and it’s time to tear down every government obstacle that stands in our way.
