Election Integrity and Restoration of Public Trust

With Michigan being ground zero for the steal in 2020 Michigan must have free, fair, and transparent elections.  These fouundation of our constitutional republic. The Michigan First Movement demands absolute integrity in every election to ensure every legal vote counts and no illegal vote dilutes the voice of Michigan citizens. Serious concerns regarding the 2020 presidential election, including procedural irregularities, chain-of-custody failures, ballot harvesting allegations, unsecured drop boxes, late-night vote dumps, and statistical anomalies in key counties, have never been fully resolved to the satisfaction of millions of Michiganders. The same applies to other elections where credible evidence of fraud or misconduct has surfaced or is expected to become public.

This policy mandates aggressive action to secure future elections, conduct thorough reviews of past contests (including 2020), and prosecute election crimes wherever evidence warrants.

Core Policy Principles

• Every legal vote must be counted. No illegal vote may be counted.

• Elections must be transparent, observable, and auditable by the public.

• Election officials and vendors must be held to the highest standards of accountability.

• Foreign or domestic interference, whether by governments, NGOs, or partisan actors, will not be tolerated.

Key Legislative and Executive Actions

1. Comprehensive Election Integrity Reforms

• Voter ID Requirement: Strict photo ID for all in-person and absentee voting, with free IDs issued to eligible citizens.

• Paper Ballots Only: All voting must use hand-marked paper ballots. Ban internet-connected, wireless, or Dominion-type systems with known security vulnerabilities unless fully air-gapped and auditable.

• Same-Day Registration Ban: Registration must close 30 days before an election. Automatic voter rolls must be cleaned using ERIC or superior systems with regular purges of deceased, felons, and non-residents.

• Absentee Ballot Security: Absentee ballots accepted only with witness signatures, photo ID copies, and strict chain-of-custody tracking. No unsecured drop boxes. All ballots must be received by Election Day.

• Real-Time Auditing: Risk-limiting audits on all races. Full forensic audits available upon petition by candidates or citizens with reasonable cause.

• Observer Access: Poll watchers and challengers from all parties must have meaningful access, including during ballot processing and tabulation. No blocking of legitimate observers.

• Ban on Private Funding: Prohibit Zuckerberg-style private grants or any outside money influencing election administration.

• Election Day Holiday: Make Election Day a state holiday with mandatory closure of non-essential government offices to maximize in-person voting.

2. Investigation and Accountability for 2020 and Other Elections

• Independent Forensic Audit Commission: Establish a bipartisan (or nonpartisan where possible) commission with subpoena power to conduct a full forensic review of the 2020 election in Michigan, focusing on Antrim County, Wayne County, and other areas with documented irregularities. Include ballot images, voting machine logs, chain-of-custody records, and voter roll accuracy.

• Criminal Referrals: Direct the Michigan Attorney General and local prosecutors to pursue all credible evidence of election crimes, including:

  • Ballot harvesting and illegal duplication.

  • Backdating of ballots.

  • Illegal counting of out-of-state or non-resident votes.

  • Tampering with voting machines or software.

  • False statements under oath by election officials.

  • Any newly emerging evidence from ongoing investigations or whistleblowers.

• Statute of Limitations Suspension: For election-related felonies involving public officials or large-scale fraud, suspend statutes of limitations where evidence was previously suppressed or newly discovered.

• Public Transparency: All audit findings, raw data, and investigative reports must be made public promptly, with full release of 2020-era records currently under seal where legally possible.

3. Prosecution and Deterrence

• Election Crimes Task Force: Dedicated unit within the Attorney General’s office, working with sheriffs and local prosecutors, to investigate and prosecute election fraud aggressively.

• Severe Penalties: Felony charges with mandatory minimum sentences for election officials, vendors, or activists who commit fraud. Permanent disqualification from future election-related work.

• Civil Remedies: Allow private rights of action for candidates and voters harmed by proven election misconduct, with attorney fees awarded to successful plaintiffs.

4. Long-Term Safeguards

• Voter Roll Maintenance: Mandatory annual canvassing and cross-checks with other states and federal databases.

• No Ranked-Choice or Universal Mail-In Without Safeguards: Prohibit expansive mail-in systems unless all security measures above are fully implemented.

• Federal Cooperation: Work with Congress and the Trump administration on national election integrity standards while asserting Michigan sovereignty over its elections.

The Michigan First Movement will not rest until every legal vote from every election is verified and every instance of fraud is exposed and punished. If substantial evidence of 2020 irregularities or other election crimes becomes public — as multiple ongoing investigations and whistleblower testimonies suggest — we will demand full accountability, including potential decertification where legally feasible and appropriate remedies.
