Operation Law and Order: Strict Plan to Stop Crime, Eliminate Violence, and Restore Public Safety

Crime and violence have eroded quality of life in Michigan cities and towns. Soft-on-crime policies, revolving-door justice, sanctuary protections, and cultural breakdown have empowered criminals while victimizing law-abiding citizens. The Michigan First Movement demands a strict, uncompromising return to law and order. Public safety is non-negotiable. Criminals will fear the law again, and Michigan families will feel safe in their neighborhoods.

• Zero tolerance for disorder, repeat offenders, and protected classes of criminals.

• Restoration of personal responsibility and strong communities.

Strict Enforcement Plan

1. Policing and Immediate Response

• Full Funding and Backing of Law Enforcement: Increase pay and benefits for police officers. End all defunding efforts. Provide legal immunity for officers acting in good faith.

• Broken Windows Policing: Aggressive enforcement of quality-of-life crimes (loitering, public urination, graffiti, shoplifting, disorderly conduct) to prevent escalation to serious violence.

• Hot Spots Deployment: Data-driven saturation policing in high-crime areas with overtime pay incentives.

• Task Forces: Specialized units targeting gangs, drug trafficking, carjackings, retail theft rings, and domestic violence.

2. Justice System Overhaul – No More Revolving Door

• End Cashless Bail: Mandatory cash bail or detention for violent felonies, repeat offenders, and gun crimes.

• Truth-in-Sentencing: Eliminate parole for violent and repeat offenders. Serve full sentences.

• Three Strikes Law: Life sentences for third serious felony conviction.

• Juvenile Crime Crackdown: Try serious juvenile offenders (age 15+) as adults for violent crimes. Mandatory parental responsibility for juvenile restitution.

• Prosecutorial Accountability: Elected prosecutors must pursue maximum charges for violent crimes. Recall or removal process for “progressive” prosecutors who refuse to enforce the law.

3. Specific Crime Priorities

• Gun Crime: Mandatory minimum 5–10 years for illegal gun possession or use in a crime. Enhanced penalties for repeat offenders.

• Drug Epidemic: Harsh penalties for fentanyl trafficking (20+ years). Treatment diversion only for first-time, non-violent users.

• Retail Theft and Organized Crime: Felony charges for theft over $300. Target organized retail crime rings with RICO-style prosecutions.

• Carjacking and Violent Robbery: Minimum 10-year sentences. No plea bargains for repeat offenders.

• Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault: No-drop prosecution policy. Mandatory minimums and GPS monitoring for offenders.

4. Corrections and Recidivism Control

• Prison Reform for Public Safety: Focus on work, education, and discipline inside prisons. No early release for violent offenders.

• Post-Release Supervision: Strict probation with electronic monitoring, drug testing, and job requirements for non-violent offenders.

• Deport Criminal Aliens: Full cooperation with ICE. Immediate removal of any non-citizen convicted of a felony or serious misdemeanor.

5. Community and Cultural Restoration

• Parental Responsibility Laws: Hold parents accountable for chronic truancy and juvenile crime.

• Community Watch and Armed Citizen Support: Encourage lawful self-defense and neighborhood patrols. Protect Second Amendment rights as a deterrent.

• Cultural Offense: Public campaigns promoting personal responsibility, two-parent families, and respect for law. Remove glorification of violence from taxpayer-funded programs.

Implementation and Metrics

• Statewide Law and Order Command: Coordinated effort between Governor, Attorney General, State Police, and local sheriffs with weekly crime statistics.

• Legislation: Pass the Michigan Law and Order Restoration Act — a comprehensive tough-on-crime package.

• Metrics Dashboard (Publicly Reported Monthly):

  • Violent crime rate reduction.

  • Homicide, carjacking, and retail theft numbers.

  • Clearance rates.

  • Recidivism rates.

  • Citizen perception of safety (surveys).

• Dramatic drops in violent crime within 2–3 years.

Public Safety: Keep Our Streets Safe, Uphold The Law, Defend Our Rights

Michigan First believes true public safety starts by putting law-abiding citizens first. We stand with the men and women who protect us and fight against so-called soft-on-crime policies, federal overreach, and bureaucratic red tape that threaten our families and their safety.

Safe streets, safe neighborhoods, and strong communities are built on local control, constitutional rights, and swift, fair justice–not more regulations, defunding the police, or coddling criminals.

Top Priorities: 

Mass Deportations: We support working hand in hand with the Patriots in Border Patrol, DHS, Homeland Security, ICE, and the military. Nearly 500,000 illegals with fraudlent immigration papers are in Michigan right now and the rise of ISIS fighters in Dearborn and Hamtramck look to threaten our peace of mind. WE WILL ENFORCE A STRICT NORTHERN BORDER POLICY. 

Support Law Enforcement & First Responders:  Support and adequately fund the state’s police, sheriffs, firefighters, EMS, and corrections officers with fair compensation, equipment, and legal protections so they can serve our communities without fearing politically motivated prosecutions or harassment. Honor and prioritize first responders as the unsung heroes of our communities.

Law and Order / Be Tough on Crime: Vigorously enforce our laws against violent criminals, drug dealers, and career offenders. Support mandatory minimums for violent crimes, end catch-and-release for dangerous offenders, and ensure they are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Oppose sanctuary policies or any state or local efforts to shield illegal immigrants who commit crimes.

Protect Second Amendment & Self-Defense Rights: Michigan First will never compromise our God-given right to keep and bear arms in self-defense of ourselves, our families, and our communities. We will oppose any state or local effort to infringe on that right enjoyed by law-abiding citizens and support the constitutional carry and stand-your-ground principles.

Strict Border Security: While the federal government must secure our nation’s borders, Michigan must also do our part to protect our communities from the negative impacts of illegal immigration, fentanyl trafficking, and drug cartels. We support state and local measures that work with federal law enforcement to crack down on human trafficking and reject sanctuary policies or protections.

Empower Crime Prevention at the Local Level: Counties, cities, and townships should have the authority and flexibility to implement public safety solutions that work for their communities, whether that’s community policing, neighborhood watch programs, local ordinances, or other measures. Without Lansing bureaucrats or federal mandates dictating one-size-fits-all solutions.

Judicial & Corrections Reform: We will build upon existing Judicial Reform priorities: Fair and speedy trials, qualified judges with common sense, and corrections reform that focuses on punishment and rehabilitation for violent offenders but explores alternative solutions for non-violent crimes and ways to reduce recidivism.

Anti-Corruption: Root out any corruption, politicization, or abuse within law enforcement agencies, oversight bodies, or bureaucracies through transparency, citizen oversight, and other accountability measures aligned with Anti-Corruption / Election Integrity goals.

Emergency Preparedness and Resilience: Strengthen local first-response capabilities for natural disasters, infrastructure failures, or other emergencies by empowering self-reliant communities rather than relying on big-government federal aid.

Public safety is not a government monopoly. Law-abiding, armed, vigilant, faith-filled citizens, working hand-in-hand with accountable local law enforcement are the truest public safety solutions for making Michigan as safe as possible. We reject big-government solutions that disarm the people, demoralize officers, and prioritize criminals over victims.
