Patriot Renaissance Program: Eradicating Communist Ideology and Building Proud, Innovative Michigan Patriots
The Patriot Renaissance Program is a comprehensive, statewide initiative led by the Michigan First Movement to eliminate the influence of communist, Marxist, and anti-American ideologies in Michigan’s public institutions while inspiring the next generation of proud, innovative patriots.
This program leverages existing federal and state grant opportunities in civic education, innovation, workforce development, and youth programs to fund patriotic curriculum, teacher training, community events, and mentorship initiatives that celebrate Michigan and American history, heritage, and exceptionalism.
Program Goals
Completely remove communist, Marxist, collectivist, and divisive ideologies from public education, government, and taxpayer-funded programs.
Instill deep pride in Michigan’s and America’s ancestors, achievements, and values.
Create a new generation of young patriots who are innovative, entrepreneurial, and inspired to lead Michigan and the world.
Eligible Project Categories (Designed for Grant Eligibility)
The program is flexible to align with existing grants from the U.S. Department of Education (Civics, Innovation, and History grants), Michigan Department of Education, and workforce/civic programs.
1. Ideological Cleansing and Curriculum Reform
Development and implementation of new K-12 and higher education curricula emphasizing:
Accurate American and Michigan history, including the triumphs of free enterprise and the failures of communism.
Founding principles, constitutional literacy, and stories of Michigan innovators and patriots.
Rejection of critical theories, identity politics, and collectivist doctrines.
Audits and defunding of programs promoting Marxist or anti-American content.
2. Teacher Training and Patriot Educator Network
Training programs for teachers who commit to patriotic, fact-based education.
Incentives and recognition for educators who produce strong academic results and foster love of country.
Alternative certification pathways for veterans, parents, and professionals who embody American values.
3. Youth Patriot Leadership and Innovation
After-school, summer, and community programs teaching leadership, entrepreneurship, innovation, and civic duty.
Competitions, camps, and mentorship initiatives that challenge young people to solve real Michigan problems through American ingenuity.
Celebration of Michigan ancestors, farmers, auto pioneers, inventors, veterans, and everyday heroes.
4. Community and Cultural Revival
Public events, monuments, and media campaigns honoring Michigan and American heritage.
Support for local historical societies and patriotic organizations.
Programs connecting youth with multi-generational Michigan families to learn values of hard work, faith, and self-reliance.
5. Higher Education Alignment
Reform of public universities to prioritize free inquiry, viewpoint diversity, and practical innovation over ideological indoctrination.
Incentives for departments that produce graduates who contribute to Michigan’s economic and cultural renaissance.
